Preparation

Choose Your Container: Select a clean and clear container to hold your moon water. Glass or ceramic containers are ideal, as they won't interact with the water or absorb any energies.

  1. Select a Location: Find a spot outdoors where your container will be exposed to the moonlight. Ideally, place it where it will receive direct moonlight throughout the night.

  2. Set Your Intention: Before you begin, take a moment to set your intention for the moon water. You can infuse it with qualities such as purification, healing, clarity, or manifestation, depending on your needs.

  3. Fill the Container with Water: Pour clean, preferably filtered, water into your container. You can use tap water if it's safe to drink, or you can collect rainwater for an added natural element.

  4. Place the Container Under the Moonlight: Once your container is filled with water, place it outside under the moonlight. You can leave it on a windowsill, balcony, or any outdoor surface where it will be directly exposed to the moon.

  5. Bless or Charge the Water: If you wish, you can bless or charge the water with your intention. You can do this by speaking your intention aloud, holding the container and visualizing it being filled with the moon's energy, or by placing crystals or symbols of your intention around the container.

  6. Retrieve the Water: In the morning, before the sun rises, retrieve your container of moon water. You can strain out any debris or particles if necessary.

  7. Store the Moon Water: Transfer your moon water to a clean, airtight container and store it in a cool, dark place. You can use it for rituals, blessings, or simply to imbibe the energy of the moon whenever you need it.
