Aphrodite Shining Star Reiki attunement which connects you to this beautiful healing modality and to the planet Venus, which connects us to the Five Pointed Star.  This is an empowering reiki attunement to one of self love, beauty and self worth.  You can empower yourself with the loving energies and use with your clients to help with their feelings of lack of love, beauty and self worth.  You may wish to invoke the shining star in your work, or bring in shells or roses as each of these symbols are part of this Aphrodite Shining Star Reiki I work with rose quartz too. 
 
In the early spring on 2020 I was painting with my friends and started with acrylic paints a picture of the Birth of Venus, I have always loved Sandro Botticelli's paintings, my mother had some of his work on her walls in our hall at home.  She particularly liked the Birth of Venus too and some of his other paintings, my mother was a sisterhood of the rose for sure she loved beautiful things pink roses and cherubs and blue.  She held a power of her own charismatic and beautiful and worked as an energy healer. 
 
In February I noticed that Ishtara Rose who is one of my Magdalene High Priestess Sisters was sharing Aphrodite Shining Star Reiki Attunements and this felt the perfect time to be attuned to this lovely energy.  I love working with Venus, Aphrodite and Mary Magdalene and the teaching I always here from them are the way of love.  Love beings with ourselves and the pink rose teaches us to love ourselves, our best parts, our shadow parts, release our traumas and pass memories and be whole with our uniqueness to recognise ourselves as a beautiful Soul.  Its a good timing as Venus began a new cycle this year, it completes 8 years in orbit round the earth and began a new cycle this year.  So this is very significant for 2020.
 
This is a lovely reiki and it was a lovely one to attune to in early spring, for its energies have carried me through these difficult weeks of lockdown and covid 19, whilst the world was full of fear, I have turned inwards to the world of self love, of beauty in my garden and looking after my family.  This reiki helps to embody the feelings of self love and self worth and help you to feel the true beauty you are. 
 
In Greek mythology, Aphrodite is the goddess of love, beauty and sexual rapture. Love and beauty are ideas essentially connected, and Aphrodite was therefore also the goddess of beauty and gracefulness. Aphrodite Shining Star was founded by Maria João Sereno (Brigitt).
 
In many ways Aphrodite surpassed all other goddesses,  she received the prize of beauty from Paris; she had further the power of granting beauty and invincible charms to others. It is said Aphrodite could make any man fall in love with her by them just laying eyes on her.
 
Aphrodite was associated with, and often depicted with the sea, dolphins, doves, swans, pomegranates, apples, myrtle, rose and lime trees, clams, scallop shells, and pearls, but the swine was prohibited.
 
The energy of Aphrodite, can help you in several ways:

It is always lovely to create a personal altar or place of intention when invoking a particular reiki and decidating that space to the healing modality.  I set up my Venus Statue with a rose quartz and rose before doing a healing session or sending distant healing or attunements.
